Update for 2024-25 season for Pre-Post Hockey Teams

We are excited to announce a partnership with the Columbus Chill, CAHA 67s and the CCYHA Blue Jackets pre/post hockey teams starting in the 2024-25 season. This collaboration aims to offer enhanced programming for high school hockey players across central Ohio before and after their seasons. 

The focus of this partnership includes:

Preparing players for high school hockey

Developing individual player skills and game experience

Simplifying the tryout experience

Providing appropriate competitive opportunities

Minimize travel for most players except for the Chill National Bound teams. 

A unified tryout will take place May 13-23 at Chiller North, where players will be evaluated and assigned to teams based on their skills and experience. 

The number of teams at each level will be determined by the number of players trying out and availability of coaches and goalies.

All teams will be Columbus Chill branded and each non national bound team will wear a patch on the shoulder representing a piece of Columbus Hockey History. Coaches will be carefully selected by a committee to ensure quality coaching for all teams. Play will commence in Fall 2024 following Spring tryouts.
