Practices
All practices will be half-ice.
On Ice –
Summer – Offseason: Due to ice limitations in central Ohio, Development teams will practice on ice once a week from the week of July 22nd through the end of August (August 28th) at the various OhioHealth Chillers.
Season: Due to ice limitations in central Ohio, players on development teams will practice on-ice with according to their house hockey team schedule. If ice becomes available, it will be offered to Development teams for practices. The goal is to have 6 on-ice development team practices throughout the season. This may or may not be a reality depending on ice availability.
Off Ice – During the season, Development teams will have weekly team off ice training sessions at The Spot Athletics (https://www.thespotathletics.com/) in Dublin.
Games/Tournaments
Games: Due to ice limitations at the Chiller, we anticipate that each team will have budget to schedule 2 home games.
Tournaments: Anticipated 3 – 5 tournaments will be scheduled for each team. Out of town travel will be required.
Exact Tournament Weekends are TBD and will be published once finalized.
Overall game estimate: 20-30 games.
